SHORT DESCRIPTION
Get ready to discover Gracia, Barcelona local’s favourite barrio (neighbourhood). Still off the tourist radar, this area is famous for its bohemian soul and packed with organic food stores, beautiful pedestrian streets, charming plazas (squares) and small artisan shops.
Together we’ll take the time to see where the locals go to have coffee, to eat and in general we’ll be looking for the most authentic places to spot the real local life. An optional, yet highly recommended, market lunch can be included at the end of the tour.

10:30am Start of the Slow Walking Tour in Gracia
We’ll meet near the metro stop Diagonal (L3- green line) and from there walk together in the neighbourhood of Gracia. The exact address of meeting point will be released upon booking.

10:45am Coffee time
After walking along Gracia’s main street, we’ll take you to a quiet local cafe for a drink. There, we’ll give you your personal map with sustainable, organic and slow places to visit in Barcelona. We’ll also explain a bit about where we are going to go so that you can orientate yourself later on.

11am-1pm Discovering Gracia
Expect to discover the neighbourhood in depth, see its many charming plazas (squares), see where the locals shop, spot organic food stores (very common in the neighbourhood) and discover plenty artisanal shops. You can let us know what you’re into at the beginning of the tour so that we can customize it to spend more time at the places that really matter to you.
Together we’ll really discover the atmosphere of Gracia as we’ll also take you to spots not even known by the locals…
There’ll be plenty of time for questions and conversation, or just enjoying your favourite spots of the day.

1 pm Optional Lunch at the Market
After a good tour comes good food… One of our last stops of the day will be the visit of the local market, where we’ll purchase local and seasonal products before cooking them at one of the traditional market bars where we’ll enjoy lunch.
This is an experience not to be missed, so we highly recommend you to book it along with the tour.
The meeting point can be reached by walking or public transport. No additional transport is needed for the experience.
The food served for lunch is always traditional, and most, if not all of the ingredients are sourced straight from small, local producers. The drinks are locally sourced as well.
This tour takes you to local businesses which, in most cases, follow strict policies of recycling. All the plastic, glass and paper waste produced is recycled.
